Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers

About Us

The Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers is a group of enthusiastic hobbyists who live in and around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. We love to share our knowledge and enjoyment of astronomy with other amateur astronomers and with the general public.

We welcome all new members to enjoy the most our club has to offer by participating in DVAA activities. They are encouraged to ask questions and pursue their interests in astronomy through the club.

We suggest that new members attend our Observing Clinics and some special interest group meetings. The special interest groups are listed below. These events can advance their skills and enjoyment of the hobby and help them get to know their fellow members. New members are entitled to all benefits of membership.
